Thomas B. Oglesby and James Oglesby: There are no land transactions for either Thomas B[radley?] Oglesby or for James Oglesby, the two youngest sons of Thomas Oglesby, in the Elbert County Deed Books. By 1820 Thomas B. Oglesby was living in Madison Co., as attested by the census of that year, so there may be records for him in those of that county. Although James Oglesby remained in Elbert Co. through at least 1850, where he is listed as a farmer in the census of that year, by 1860 he was living in Clarke County.
