For and in consideration of the sum of $3000 Dollars, conveying all that tract of land containing 353 ½ acres known as the Webb’s Ferry Tract, bounded south by Broad River including 2 acres on the south side of said river, taking in the ferry landing from the poplar corner to the ditch bounded east by Cedar Creek from the mouth of said creek to a Beech corner near the Old Bridge on the Elberton road from the ferry, from thence to an Oak corner formerly, now a young pine corner, from thence to a Post Oak corner on the road leading to Webb’s Borough on William Webb’s old line, from thence to a White Oak corner, from thence to a pine stump on the river along Jones line, thence down said river crossing at the mouth of the ditch, said river running out along said ditch to a Sassafras corner, from thence to a Sassafras stake, from thence to a Poplar corner on the river below the ferry landing, from thence across said river to the opposite bank, from thence along said river bank to the mouth of Cedar Creek, the beginning.
