For and in consideration of the sum of $3000 dollars did sell all that parcel of land on Broad River and Doves Creek. Also one other tract of land and another tract beginning on a white oak corner on Broad River running thence down said river with the meanders of the same until it intersects William Norris line, thence along said Norris line until it strikes Doves Creek near the said James Olivers Mill, thence up the said creek as the same meanders until it intersects C.A. Alexanders line, thence along said line in a southwardly direction until it intersects with the line of the land formerly belonging to Edmund Shackleford, Sr. (dec.).
