1842, June 14—This Indenture made between Simeon Oliver of DeSoto County, 
Mississippi unto Henry P. Maddox of Elbert County.  For and in consideration of 
the sum of $5000 dollars sold and conveyed all that tract or parcel of land 
situate on Broad River, except 1 acre, the centre of which is the graveyard, 
containing 673 acres.
