Martin was applicant and Elbert M. Rucker and William M. Hascett Executors of Joseph Rucker (dec.) were defendants, it was directed that the land hereinafter described should be sold by Robert Hester, John H. Jones and Thomas J. Bourman as Commissioners of said court. The same was exposed for sale at public outcry November 7, 1865 and was knocked off to Luther H.O. Martin, William H. Maddox and R. H. Maddox for the sum of $4859 dollars. All that tract of land on Beaverdam Creek, known as the Rucker & Martin Mill Tract, joining lands of Elizabeth Blackwell, the Estate of Tinsley W. Rucker (dec.) and the said Luther H.O. Martin, containing 80 acres.
