Marbil M. Stone to Charles G. Moon deed

Georgia, Elbert County:
This indenture made and entered into this the twenty first day December 
one thousand Eight hundred and thirty seven Between Marbil M. Stone of 
the county of Henry of the one part and Charles G. Moon of the County 
of Elbert of the other part both of the State aforesaid.
Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the sum of Five hundred 
dollars to me in hand paid the said Marbil M. Stone at and before the 
sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged. I hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by 
these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Charles G. 
Moon his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate 
lying and being in the County of Elbert State aforesaid on the waters 
of deep Creek enclosed in the following lines (to wit). Beginning at 
a corner Black oak thence along Nathaniel Duncans line N 70 E 59.75 
to corner Chestnut on William Tramels line thence a new line crossing
the road strike said Tramels line so as to include Ten acres out of the 
grant thence along said line S 20 E to a pine Corner thence with John 
Browns Junr. line south 36 chains 75 links to a post oak corner thence 
with N. Duncans line S 20 W 21 chain to pine corner thence with Rumsays 
line N 8.60 W 17.50 to white oak corner thence with Washington Shaws 
line N 50 W 38.78 to pine corner thence with Charles W. Christian line 
55.36 to the beginning Black oak corner containing Four hundred and 
fifty seven acres originally granted to Samuel Runnels (?) be the same 
more of less to have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him 
the said Charles G. Moon his heirs and assigns together with all and 
Singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof to the same in
any manner belonging to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof
forever in Fee Simple. And I the said Marbil M. Stone for myself my heirs
Executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said 
Charles G. Moon his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend 
the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of 
all other persons whatever. In Witness whereof I the said Marbil M. 
Stone have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
