For and in consideration of the sum of 104 Pounds, lawful money of said state, convey all that tract or parcel of land on the Savannah River containing 112 ½ acres, bounded on the East by Savannah River, on the South by land granted to William Welmouth, on the West by lands granted to Welmouth, on the North by John Newman’s land. Beginning at a Chestnut corner on the bank of the river running S65 W45 chains to a pine corner, thence N35 W23c 40 links to a ______, thence N65 E to the bank of the East prong of the river, across said prong to the other bank and down said East bank of said prong to a ____ bush, thence N60 E across the island to the other prong of the river, thence down the West bank of the East prong of said river to the gum bush Including the lower part of said island.
