1857, February 3—This Indenture made between Jett Thomas unto Thomas T. Maddox, 
both of Elbert County.  For and in consideration of the sum of $10,530 dollars, 
did sell and assign all that tract of land situate on Broad River intersected 
by Doves Creek adjoining lands of Alfred Oliver, George Gaines, Mrs. Deadwyler, 
John G. Dedwyler, Jesse Fortson and M. Almonds.  Being the tract called by Jett 
Thomas as his plantation, containing 1755 acres.	With plat
