This Indenture made this eleventh day of November one thousand eight  hundred 
fourteen between Benjamin Thornton of the one part and Wiley Thornton of the 
other part all of the State of Georgia and County of Elbert Witnesseth that  
the said Benjamin Thornton hath in consideration of the sum of two hundred and 
fifteen dollrs in hand paid to said Benjamin Thornton by the said Wiley 
Thornton the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and 
released and forever confirmed unto the said Wiley Thornton his heirs and 
assigns all that tract or prcel in said County of Elbert on the north side of 
Big Cold Water creek containing one hundred and sixty acres more or less 
beginning at a post oak corner ___thence south ___to a pine thence west to a 
post oak thence to a pine thence south ___ line made on the corner pointed out 
by Ann Guy running south to Nathaniel Bank's line, thence along a ___ line to 
the beginning corner bounded ___ by James Hunt's line Nathaniekl Hunt on the 
south William Teasley on the east to have and to hold the aforesaid tract or 
parcel of land containing one hundred and sixty acres be the ___ more or less 
unto the said Wiley Thornton his heirs and assigns forever free and clear from 
the claims of ___ and my heirs and assigns and all and every other person or 
persons. In witness whereof I the ___ named Benjamin Thornton do hereunder set 
my hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed Sealed in the presence
