For and in consideration of the sum of $1200 Dollars, sold all that tract of land situate in Elbert County on Beaver Dam Creek containing 151 acres and containing Mills as follows; beginning at a white oak corner on R. Richardson line and running N76 52 chains to a small hickory, N15 E36 chains & 46 links to a hickory on the bank of the aforesaid creek; thence across the creek to a small pine on R. Richardson’s line; thence down the bank of the creek at high water mark to another pine corner on R. Richardson line in the bend of the creek; thence the meanders of the creek at the high water mark down to the mouth of the branch formerly known by the name Kids Still House Branch, it being the first considerable branch below the last mentioned corner then a direct line up the same to a huckleberry bush on Wm. Nuckolls line 77 degrees eastwardly 7 chains & 74 links to a black oak corner; thence N14 E4 chains & 38 links to a red oak corner on Ben Brown line; thence on Ben Browns line S31 ½ E until it strikes the main prong of the first branch below Ben Brown’s Fish Trap Shoal on said creek [Beaverdam]; thence down the meanders of the same to a white oak about 150 yards above the mouth of the said branch, said white oak corner, it being at the old ford and described in a deed from Ben Brown to the said J. Thornton; thence a direct line to a red oak corner on the bank of said creek about 4 or 5 steps above the aforesaid Fish Trap Shoal up the meanders of the said creek at common water mark to such a point that will have a direct line being run from said point N15 W to strike or intersect the first mentioned white oak or beginning corner on Richardson’s line which said tract or parcel of all appurtenances.
