1859, January 22—This Indenture made between Alexander Vaughan unto Benjamin 
Colvard, both of Elbert County.  For and in consideration of the sum of $2600 
dollars,
granted and sold all that tract of land lying on the waters of Broad River, 
joining land of James G. Eberhart, John Deadwyler and others whereon said 
Alexander formerly lived, containing 264 6/10 acres.
Recorded January 9, 1800			[with plat]
