Indenture between Clemant Wilkins & George Stone 02 Nov 1847 Elbert Co, GA Elbert Co Deeds Book AA Page 60 Clemant Wilkins to George V.Stone Georgia, Elbert County: This Indenture made this the second day of November in the year one thousand Eight hundred & forth seven. Between Clemant Wilkins of the one part and George V. Stone of the other part both of the county & State aforesaid, witnesseth that the said Clement Wilkins for & in consideration of the sum of twenty dollars to him in hand paid by the said George V. Stone at and before the delivery of this indenture hath this day granted bargained sold & conveyed & by these presents doth sell bargain & convey unto the said George V. Stone all that tract or parcel of land situate lying & being in the County of Elbert State of Georgia on the waters of Falling Creek adjoining the Lands of Wiley Dunnard on the south, on the west by David Kerlin, James Nash Snr, on the East and the said Clement Wilkins on the North & it being a part of the lands on which said Wilkins now resides containing four acres be the same more or less. To have & to hold the said bargained lands unto himself his heirs Executors administrators & assigns forever, and the said Clement Wilkins for and in consideration of the said sum of twenty dollars the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged doth forever warrant & will forever defend the right & title to the aforesaid bargained land unto the said George V. Stone his heirs Executors Administrators & assigns will warrant & forever defend the title of the said land against the claim of himself his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns and against the claim or claims of all other persons whatever forever in fee Simple.
