For and in consideration of the sum of $1270 dollars and 71 cents, sell and confirm all that tract of land lying on the South fork Broad River containing 500 acres, being the land granted William Stokes and which he sold William Cade by his deed. Said Wailes to have and hold aforesaid premises with the houses, mills and all improvements, 3 copper stills, one whereof holding 163 gallons, one other holding 136 gallons and the third holding 60 gallons.
