1819, December 28—This Indenture made and entered into between William Willson 
[Wilson] of Franklin County unto Whitehead Hendricks of Elbert County.  For and 
in consideration of the sum of $200 Dollars, conferred all that part of a 
certain tract of land situate on Mill Shoal Creek containing by estimation, 130 
acres bounded as follows; beginning at a post oak corner on C.W. Christian’s 
land, then a N 35 E to a pine corner, thence to a beach[beech] corner on David 
Staples’ land on the east fork of Mill Shoal Creek, thence down said fork to 
the main creek to where Harris’ line crossed the said main creek, thence along 
said line S 35 W to a stake on C.W. Christian’s land, thence N 50 E 22 chains 
to a stake, thence S 34 W 7 chains to a water oak, thence N 62 E 12 chains to 
the beginning.
