Holt of the other part all of the State of Georgia and Elbert County Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars in hand paid at or before the signing sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain sell and deliver unto the said John S. Holt his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land containing three hundred and fifty acres be the same more or less, in the county and State aforesaid on Warhatche Creek, bounded by said creek on the north east by P. Jacks on the North by Land of Bell and Woods on the West and by Thomas Burton Junr and on the south to the aforesaid creek. Being a tract granted by his Excellency the Governor to James Bell bearing date 24th of January 1787 and part of another tract of land granted by his Excellency George Mathews bearing date the 22nd of September 1787 to John Decker and the said Andrew Woodley and Nancy his wife do hereby warrant and defend the said tract of land and the appertainence thereunto or in any wise appertaining to the said John S. Holt his heirs Executors and Administrators in fee simple forever In Testimonry whereof the said Andrew Woodley and Nancy his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written. Signd Seald and Delivered in the Presents of Thos. Cook J.P. Andrew Woodley (L.S.) Jas Morrison her William Holt Nancy X Woodley (L.S.) mark Georgia, Elbert County) I Nancy Woodley wife of the within named Andrew Woodley do declare that I have freely and of my own accord signed sealed and delivered the within Instrument passed between my said husband and John S. Holt and that I do hereby reqinquish all claim or title of Dower to the within tract of land, chich I might claim or be intitled to on the death of my said husband Witness my hand and seal this 20th July 1811.
