See Co. D, 9th Battn. Ga. Infantry for roll of this company prior to May
6, 1863. The 37th Regiment Ga. Infantry was formed partly by 
consolidation of the 3d and 9th Battalions of Georgia Infantry May 6, 
1863. The 9th Battalion Georgia Infantry was also known as the 17th 
Battalion Ga. Infantry.

and place not given. Captured at Decatur, Ala. October 28, 1864.

Ala. October 28, 1864. Released at Camp Douglas, Ill. May 18, 
1865.

Hall, James N.- private June 27, 1863. Captured at Franklin,
Tenn. December 18, 1864. Released at Point Lookout, Md. June 5,
1865.

place not given. Admitted to St. Mary's Hospital at West
Point, Miss. on account of wound, January 11, 1865. No later
record.

Mewbern, William A. (or Mewborn) - private September 20, 1863.
Captured near Jonesboro, Ga. September 3, 1864, and forwarded
to Provost Marshal General, Dept. of Cumberland, same date.
No later record. (Died October 10, 1878.) 

Mims, John.G.- private March 4, 1862. Captured. Died at
Camp Douglas, Ill. Buried there in Confederate Cemetery.

Sayer, J. D.- private in 1864. Discharged at Atlanta, Ga. in
1864.

Snellings, J. Samuel - private March 4, 1864. Wounded, date
and place not given. On wounded furlough close of war.

Thomason, W. G.- private October 18, 1863. Appears last on roll
dated February 1864.

Webb, Abner - private February 28, 1864. Surrendered at 
Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865.
