"Mr. H. C. Hall of Athens was in Elberton Wednesday to visit his son, Mr. W. E. Hall, who left yesterday to resume his work in the war department at Washington City. His four sons were all here with him. Besides the one already mentioned, there was E. Z. Hall of the U.S.Navy, who has been under Admiral Sims in the war zone water for the past ten months; Luther Hall, formerly of Camp Wheeler, and Lonnie Hall. All of these Halls were born and reared in Elbert county and are doing their country some service in these days of trial and trouble." [Submitted by: Chandler Eavenson]
