F. Adams by their children and grandchildren, as follows: "Very early in the morning it was made convenient that Mr. and Mrs. Adams go out to spend a few hours with friends. On their return the family and a few close relatives had assembled and an eloborate basket dinner was awaiting. "Those present were Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Thornton and family, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Adams and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Whiteshead and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Brown and family of Atlanta, Ga; Mr. and Mrs. B. T. Adams and family, Mr. W. H. H. Adams, W. H. H. Adams, Jr., Misses Nell, Laura and Elizabeth Adams, Mr. H. D. Carpenter, Mr. N. A. Carpenter and family, Misses Fannye Ruth and Cleora Carpenter and Miss Kathryn Clark of Elberton."
