Elberton, Georgia.
DEATH OF AN OLD CITIZEN.
Elberton, Ga., December 1-
Mr. James Almond, an old and highly esteemed citizen of this county, died 
yesterday.  He was about seventy-six years old, and was born and raised in the 
county.  He was the father of our worthy ordinary, and leaves a large family of 
children.  He was a consistent member of the Davis Creek Baptist church.
