F. Anderson, 72 years old, retired farmer and prominently connected with old and influential families of this section, and a resident of Elbert county for about fifty years, died at his home on College Avenue Sunday afternoon about 4 o'clock, following an attack of pneumonia. Mr. Anderson had been in failing health for two or three years, but was able to be out on the streets until a day or two before his death. He is survived by his widow, a daughter of the late George G. Fortson. The funeral services were conducted at the home on College Avenue Monday afternoon by Rev. J. W. O. McKibben, pastor of Elberton First Methodist church, and interment was a Elmhurst cemetery. Additional Comments: Albert F. Anderson was born on 25 Aug 1860. He married on 31 Oct 1895 in Elbert Co. to Minnie Nunnelee Fortson (1875-1941), daughter of Confederate Soldier George Green Fortson (1828-1912) and Louisa S. Wall (1836-1893).
