LIZZIE ADAMS DIED AFTER ONE WEEK'S ILLNESS. "On January 9th occurred the death of Mrs. Lizzie Adams, of Gaines district. She was sick only one week and died from a severe attack of pneumonia. Mrs. Adams was 53 years old and was the widow of the late W. S. Adams, who preceded her to the grave nine years ago. She was a devoted Christian, having joined Bethesda Methodist Church in her childhood. She was the daughter of Alfred J. and Mary Francis Teasley, and was born and reared in Elbert county, in which she lived nearly all her life. Mrs. Adams was the mother of twelve children, only five of whom are living. "The burial took place at Bethesda church in Hart county on the 10th of January and the services were conducted by Revs. Walton and Tumlin of Elberton and Kelly of Hartwell."
