Victor Roger Bond, 64, of Dickinson, Texas, died Thursday, June 17, 1999, in 
Dickinson.
Born in Elberton, GA, he was devoted to furthering the nation's space 
exploration programs through his work and teaching, spanning four decades at 
NASA, Boeing, and Universities including the University of Houston, Clear 
Lake.  He was the author of Modern Astrodynamics. He was active in the "Empty 
Stocking Fund" program in Dickinson.
Survivors include his widow, Peggy Neal Bond of Dickinson; sons, Victor Scott 
Bond of Atlanta and Brett Neal Bond of Charlotte, NC; and 6 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Jack Rowe Cathedral Chapel 
by Rev. Mark Denison.
Jack Rowe Funeral Home in League, Texas is in charge of funeral arrangements.
