She is survived by her father J. B. Thornton of Hartwell, Ga.; five brothers, J. E., J. W., C. F., I. A. and E. J. Thornton of Elberton, Ga., and four sisters , Mrs. I. H. Cordell, Mrs. T. O. Fleming, Mrs. G. L. Wallace and Mrs. G. L. Agnew, all of Atlanta. Additional Comments: She was the daughter of J. Benjamin Thornton and Fannie Margaret Brown of Hart Co., GA who were married on 9 Dec 1869 in Hart Co. Burial records for Northview cemetery in Hartwell show J. Ben Thornton, born 28 Mar 1848, died 4 Mar 1937, and Fannie Margaret Thornton, born 5 Mar 1850, died 8 May 1919. The 1880 census of Hart Co. shows children of Ben and Fannie as Early, Wyley, Luna, Corrie and Emma. The 1900 census of Hart shows children of Ben and Fannie M. as Frank, Grace, Elbert, Ira and Nannie B.
