H. Clark To Be in Elberton. Mrs. Sallie Harper Clark, well known and pioneer Georgia woman, died Tuesday night at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Claude F. Williams, of 712 Piedmont avenue, after a long illness. Mrs. Clark was 82 years old and was born in Elberton, Ga., residing there practically all her life. She received her education in Eufala, Ala., later returning to Elberton, where she lived until taking up her residence with a daughter, Mrs. William Belding, of Augusta, several years ago. She moved to Atlanta early in 1923. Mrs. Clark had been a member of the Methodist church since childhood and was prominent in its activities. She was also a member of several literary and music clubs of Elberton. She is survived by four daughter, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Belding, Mrs. Gilbert J. Foster, of Chester, S. C., and Mrs. W. B. Bigbee, of Jacksonville: two sons, A. T. and L. H. Clark, both of Elberton, and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Fannie Harper, of Atlanta, and Mrs. James S. Harper, of Elberton. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning from the residence of A. T. Clark in Elberton and internment will be in the Elberton cemetery, with Greenberg & Bond in charge.
