Elberton, GA, March 26 - Funeral services were held Saturday in the Concord 
Methodist Church for Thomas J. Eavenson, 74. The Rev. Robert Ramsey officiated 
and burial was in the churchyard. Mr. Eavenson is survived by his wife; a 
daughter, Mrs. W. L. Deese, Richmond, VA; two sisters, Mrs. George C. Bond, 
Elberton, and Mrs. Fannie Smith , Greenville, SC; two grandchildren. 

Additional Comments:
Thomas J. Eavenson was born 16 Dec 1885, the son of Willis Jefferson Eavenson 
and Mary Arminda Teasley. He married on 25 Feb 1914 in Elbert Co., GA to Addie 
A. Maxwell, his first cousin and daughter of Daniel Johnson Maxwell and Amanda 
C. Eavenson. Addie born 23 Apr 1884, died Oct 1977.
