Fleming, 27 Apr 1899 The following obituary appeared in the 27 Apr 1899 issue of the Elberton Star newspaper: "Mr. Worley F. Fleming died lst Sunday morning at 4 o'clock after an illness of 8 weeks with pneumonia. He ws buried that afternoon on account of the critical condition of his wife who also is suffering pneumonia. He was 30 years old and leaves a wife and four children. He was a member of the Concord Methodist Church and was a consistent member and regular attendant at the services. He had a large number of relatives and friends and the funeral was attended by perhaps the largest procession of people that ever attended Concord Church."
