Obituary for Ms. Tiffany Grimes
Ms. Tiffany Michelle Grimes, 40, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 
30, 2019 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. 

Tiffany was the daughter of Joe and Debbie Grimes of Elberton. She was a 1997 
graduate of ECCHS, and worked in her young adult years at Torrington 
Manufacturing Company. 

In addition to her parents, Joe and Debbie, Tiffany is survived by her son, 
Austin Mack; and her sister, Andrea Smith. She also leaves behind aunts and 
uncles: Pat and Dennis Haston, Pete and Debby Haynes, Randall Haynes and 
Margaret Brady, Kathy Haynes, and Jena Grimes; nieces and nephews: Cadence and 
Cydnee Beck, Lucas Fry, Chase Smith, Destiny Smith, and their children, Logan 
Smith, Victoria and Sasha; and cousins: Jason Haynes, T.J. Haynes, Petrea Adams, 
Brandon Haynes, Victor Haynes, Christopher Haston, Justin Grimes, Stanley 
Hammond, and Taylor Hammond. 

Tiffany was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alton and Catherine Haynes 
and Carl and Betty Grimes; two uncles, Roger Grimes and Felix Grimes; and two 
cousins, Summer Grimes and Shonda Hammond. 

A memorial service to celebrate Tiffany’s life was held on Monday, June 3, 2019 
at 3:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Adams 
officiating. Interment of cremains followed at Elmhurst Cemetery. A time of 
visitation began at 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. just prior to the service. 

Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Ramp Ministry at 132 Heard 
St., Elberton, Georgia 30635.

Arrangements for Ms. Tiffany Michelle Grimes were in the care of Hicks Funeral 
Home & Cremation Services of Elberton, Ga.
