Elberton, Ga., December 15- Judge George C. Grogan, 68, died here this morning after a long illness. He is survived by his widow and eight children, George C. Grogan, Jr., of Oklahoma City; S. M. Grogan, of Washington, D.C.; Henry Grogan, Elberton; E. B. Grogan, Enid, Okla; and Mrs. Henry Jordan and Mrs. Hagood Bruce, of Pickens, S. C., and Mrs. J. Y. Arnold, of Kelsey City, Fla. The funeral will take place here tomorrow. Judge Grogan was a son of the late Rev. J. H. Grogan, graduated at Emory college in 1885, and was admitted to the bar the same year. From 1911 to 1917 and 1920 to 1924 he was judge of city court of Elberton. He was an orator of abilirt and enjoyed a long and succcessful practice of law.
