The following obituary appeared in the 13 June 1933
edition of the Elberton Star newspaper: 

"Mr. William Hall, the last of an old and widely known
family of Elbert, a brother of the late Alex Hall, and
of James and Marion Hall of Elbert County, was buried 
at Rehoboth Sunday. He died at the home of his daughter,
Mrs. Ira Brown, in Anderson [SC] Friday night. He is 
survived by his second wife and a large family of 
descendants."
