Atlanta Constitution, 11 Mar 1925 
Mr. Thomas P. Jones, 58 years of age, died at a private sanitarium Tuesday 
evening at 9:30. He is survived by his wife, six sons and two daughters. Mr. 
and Mrs. Grady Jones, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Jones, Mr. 
and Mrs. Emory Jones, Mr. Ora Jones and Mr. O. T. Jones of Elberton, Ga.; two 
daughters Mrs. T. B. Vaughn and Miss Lillian Jones of Elberton, Ga. The 
remains will be carried to Elberton this afternoon via S.A.L.for funeral and 
interment. Greenberg and Bond Co.in charge. Athens and Elberton papers please 
copy. Mr. Thomas Murrey funeral director in charge at Elberton. 

Additional Comments:
Elbert Co. marriage recorde show Thomas P. Jones and Mollie F. Childs were 
married on 9 Dec 1888, and that Mrs. M. Frances Jones remarried on 14 May 1930 
to M. B. Randle. Burial records for Bethlehem UMC in Elbert Co. show burials 
of Thomas P. Jones (1866-1925) and Mary Frances Jones Randle, born 23 May 
1868, died 16 May 1960.
