Leve Burniss Mewborn, 28 years old, born and reared in Elbert County, and uniting with Concord Methodist Church when a lad, died at Sterling, Illinois, November 5th. Mr. Mewborn had been a resident of Illinois for about ten years, being engaged in road construction work. He was married to Miss Blanche Rosenberry of Milledgeville, Illinois four years ago, and she and one son survive. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. F. C. Mewborn, of Hartwell, and four brothers, Allen, Clifford and Charles, of Hartwell, and Odell of Washington, Georgia, and one sister, Miss Clarice Mewborn of Atlanta. His body was laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery, Milledgeville, Illinois, Rev. M. D. Kilver, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, Milledgeville, Illinois, conducting the funeral services. His mother and sister from Georgia attended the funeral. The deceased has a large family connection throughout this section. Additional Comments: The deceased was a son of Fred C.
