Jewell Todd Moore, 93, of Royston, died Sunday, December 12, 2004, at the 
Hartwell Health Care Center.

Born in Elbert County March 7, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Samuel 
E. and Lois Reynolds Todd. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bowman 
United Methodist Church. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a son, Joe E. 
Moore, two grandchildren, two brothers, Sam B. Todd and Jessie Todd, three 
sisters, Lucille House, Thelma Mehr and Hytha Osborne.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Thelma and Jep Mize, Royston; son 
and daughter-in-law, Charles and Sonya Moore, Lexington, S.C.; daughter-in-
law, Cherie Moore, Bowman; brother, Roy Todd, Bowman; sisters, Newell Jordan, 
Power Springs, Archey Segars, Martin, and Ruth Dickerson, Hartwell; 13 
grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 13, in the chapel of Pruitt 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Jones officiating. Burial was in the 
Hillcrest Cemetery, Bowman. Pallbearers were Terry Mize, Scott Mize, Gary 
Mize, Scott Moore, William Phillips and Gene David.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
