Ocilla Newspaper
  Ocilla - Mrs. Minnie L. Roberts, 97, died Saturday, May 17, 2003, at Osceola 
Nursing Home in Ocilla.
  Mrs. Roberts was born in Elbert County on October 21, 1905, to R.B. and 
Blanche Gunter Wheelis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rafe 
Roberts, and four sons, Amon Roberts, Ralph Roberts, Harmon Roberts and Barney 
Roberts.
  A seamstress for Crouch's Cleaners, she was a member of Old Valley Grove 
Primitive Baptist Church. She had lived in the community most of her life.  
Survivors include: sons, W.B. Roberts and Hugh Roberts, both of Ocilla, and 
Troy Roberts of Fitzgerald; daughter, Margie Horne of Perry; 16 grandchildren 
and 24 great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held at 11 am Monday, May 19, at Old Valley Grove 
Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Charles Tyson officiating.
  Interment was in the church cemetery.
  The Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
