J. Sorrow died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. D. P. Owens, last Friday, about 12 o'clock, after an illness of three months, from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Sorrow was a good Christian woman, and during her long life of seven-nine years, had done many deeds of charity that will live always. Her remains were interred at Falling Creek church Saturday, Rev. E. L. Sisk conducting the funeral services. A large gathering of people were present attesting the love and esteem in which she was held in the community in which she lived.
