She had been in feeble health since Christmas, having been a sufferer from dropsy since that time. She was a noble Christian woman and had lived a long and useful life, being at the time of her death seventy six years old.She leaves an example of the true wife, devoted mother, kind neighbor and Christian woman to the world. Quiet and domestic in habits and taste, she attended to her duties in a gentle and unostentatious way, faithful in their performance, she won the love and respect of family and friends who will miss her from their circle. But her mission here has been well filled, and she has gone to receive the reward that awaits the just. Mrs. Turner was for many years a member of the Methodist church at Concord and was consistent in all of the requirements of her church, and, above all, was a zealous Christian. She leaves a husband and nine children - Mr. R. A. Turner, Mrs. W. M. Carithers, Mrs. Mattie Loehr, Mrs. P. W. Cleveland, Mr. J. W. Turner, Jr., Mr. George Turner, Mrs. Ida Evanson [Eavenson], Mrs. Addie Fleming and Mr. J. E. Turner of Fitzgerald. She was laid to rest in Elmhurst at 5 0'clock, Rev. Dr. Bingham conducting the funeral services. Additional Comments: Mary Jane Hall Turner was born on 10 Mar 1830 in Elbert Co., the daughter of John Pryor Hall and Mariah Louisa Turman.
