Atlanta Constitution, 10 May 1914 
Elberton, Ga. May 9 - Mrs. Ella Wall, the wife of Rev. J. N. Wall, one of 
Elbert's representatives in the legislature, died suddenly at her home some 
miles below Elberton this morning. She was about 60 years old and leaves, 
besides her husband, several children, and a brother, George T.Fortson. She 
was a devout and beloved Christian woman. The interment will take place 
tomorrow. 

Additional Comments:
Eleanor "Ella" Fortson was born 25 May 1848 and died 9 May 1914, the daughter 
of Haley Fortson (1821-1898) and his first wife Elizabeth Jenifer Hanson (1819-
1853). She married Rev. James Nunnellee Wall (1850-1927) in Elbert Co. on 2 
Dec 1868.
