Atlanta Constitution, 28 March 1893
Elberton, Ga., March 27-
Mr. Josiah S. White, an aged and highly respected citizen of this county, fell 
dead this morning at his home near Ruckersville.  He had been in good health 
for some time and was in town Saturday chatting pleasantly with his many 
friends, attended church yesterday and was attending to his farm duties this 
morning when he suddenly fell and expired within five minutes.  Dr. L. L.  
C__sk [can't make out] was summoned but found Mr. White dead upon his arrival.  
Some heart trouble was supposed to have been the cause of death.  The deceased 
was a brother of Rev. C. C. White, of Lithonia.
