WARREN DIES OF HEART ATTACK. Mr. Peter J. Warren, 53 years old, native and lifelong resident of Elbert County, veteran granite worker in the employ of the Georgia Grantie Corporation, died suddenly Sunday night from a heart attack. He ate a hearty supper and was thought to be in his usual health when he retired, but died before midnight. "His body was laid to rest in the churchyard at Doves Creek Monday afternoon, Bowers and Martin, funeral directors, in charge. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. C. West. "Mr. Warren is survived by his widow and the following children: Eugene Warren, Mrs. John Johnson and Mrs. Griff Almond. He also leaves three brothers and two sisters - Henry Warren of Elberton, Mrs. Henry Fortson of Sweet City, George and Cleveland Warren and Mrs. Ed Gunter of Oglethorpe County."
