Cemetery located in front of the former location of the old Hall homeplace in which Louisa's parents & grandparents also lived on land previously owned by Louisa's great grandparents George and Vileta Higginbotham Turman.Asa Chandler Fortson fought for the Confederate forces at the battles of Atlanta,Jonesboro and Honey Hill and signed his parole on 18 May 1865 at Gaines Mill, GA identifying him as a Pvt. of the 3rd Regiment, GA Militia.Also buried in this cemetery are their son Joseph Brown Fortson (1884-1919), Louisa's parents Lt. James Chambers Hall (1832-1862)(CSA) and Mary Adaline Loftis Hall (1832-1885), Louisa's sister Sallie V. Hall Conwell (1858-1900) and her husband George Barrett Conwell, Sr. (1848-1912) and their son George B. Conwell, Jr. (1888-1919)(USMC); and Sarah D. Conwell (1858-1908).
