Even though the death certificate shows his father as Thomas Adams, Elbert Co.
marriage records show Sarah A. Maxwell married Middleton B. Adams on 11 Jan 
1866. No marriage record was located for a Thomas Adams and Sara Maxwell. 
Furthermore, Middleton Barrett Adams, died 17 Jan 1910, age 71, and Sara Ann 
Maxwell Adams, died 3 Aug 1918, age 71, are buried next to Jesse Joel Adams
and Meanda Mewborn Adams (1875-1912)in Hillcrest Cemetery, Bowman, GA. Hart 
Co. marriage records show Jessie J. Adams and Meander J. Mewborn were married 
on 1 Sep 1890.
