Additional Comments:
Sallie C. Brown (1841-1923) is buried in Elmhurst cemetery next to some Ruckers.
She was apparently the Sarah C. Maxwell who married William B. Rucker on 5 Feb 
1858 in Elbert Co. The 1860 census of Elbert Co. shows William B. Rucker, age 
24, wife Sarah C. Rucker, age 19, and son Thomas J. Rucker, age 8 months. 
Records of Co. F, 38th Regiment, Thornton Line Volunteers, Elbert Co., CSA, 
show that William B. Rucker, 2nd Lt., died 1 Aug 1862 at Richmond, VA. Elbert
Co.marriage records then show Sarah C. Rucker married Rolen J. Brown on 15 Dec 
1870. The informant on the death certificate, T. J. Rucker, was apparently her
son Rev. Thomas J. Rucker (1859-1934)who is buried at Bio Baptist Church in 
Hart Co., GA. Elbert Co. marriage records show Thomas J. Maxwell and Ann B. 
Adams were married on 31 May 1831.
