Additional Comments:
Elbert Co. marriage records show Allure Cordell and Fannie Adams were married 
on 30 Dec 1897. Rock Branch Baptist Church cemetery records show Fannie Adams 
Cordell, born 21 Nov 1878, died 26 Mar 1919, and Allura Jeptha Cordell, born 6 
Nov 1873, died 3 May 1940. It is believed that the Willis Adams shown on the 
death certificate as the father was the Willis Adams who married Mary E. 
Teasley on 17 Dec 1874 in Elbert Co. and buried in Hart Co. at Bethesda 
Methodist Church as Willis S. Adams, born 24 Dec 1852, died 24 Dec 1902, and 
also buried there is Mary E. Adams, born 6 Dec 1857, died 11 Jan 1911, wife of 
W. S.  The 1880 Hart Co. census shows the household of Willis Adams, 27, with 
wife Lizzie, age 21, and a child Fannie, age 1.
