was born 3 Oct 1853, the son of George Green Fortson (1828-1912), Confederate 
Soldier, and Louisa S. Wall (1836-1893), daughter of Bud C. Wall and Martha 
Nunnelee, and that Wilton Green Fortson married Mrs. Mary Clark Barksdale
(1852-1934), widow of James W. Barksdale of Lincoln Co., GA. Elmhurst Cem. 
records show burials for Wilton G. and Mary Clark Fortson.
