The Fortson Family History by John W. Boyd shows that Richard F. Fortson (1813-
1894) was the son of Benjamin Fortson and 2nd wife Elizabeth Gaines, and that 
Nancy Ham (1812-1887) was the daughter of John Ham. Richard F., Nancy, and 
Sophia are all buried at Falling Creek Baptist Church cemetery.
