married on 12 Dec 1897. Records for Deep Creek Baptist Church cemetery show 
James M. Fortson (1873-1924) and Lou Corrie Seymore Fortson (1873-1943). 
James M. Fortson owned a farm next to the old Hall homeplace at Goss, between
Dewy Rose and Elberton. The Fortson Family History by John W. Boyd shows his 
birthdate as July 10 instead of July 9 as shown on the death certificate.
