Cemetery records show buried at Elmhurst cemetery are Thomas Jefferson Heard, 
born 21 Aug 1801, died 6 May 1876, son of Governor Stephen Heard, also Mrs. 
Thomas J. Heard (unknown which of his two wives was buried beside him), also 
James Lawrence Heard (1832-1922) and Mary Melissa Harper Heard (1838-1915), 
wife of J.L. Name of father not on certificate but concluded from marriage
and cemetery records.Body of Thomas J. Heard was moved from another unknown
cemetery to Elmhurst.
