married on 16 Nov 1865. Elmhurst cemetery records show John H. Higginbotham
(1871-1923) and Malise G. Higginbotham (1874-1926). The informant on the death 
certificate was Rosie Higginbotham Bettis, married on 29 Dec 1909 Elbert Co. to 
Virgil Bettis and buried 1980 in Forest Hills Cemetery in Elberton.
