1922, and Toccoa F. Hall Maxwell, born 25 Aug 1847, died 30 Dec 1908, w/o J.H. 
The book "Thomas Maxwell of VA and GA and His Descendants" by Annie Norman, 
Helen Maxwell Longino and Annie Lou Maxwell, published 1956, on pages 337-338
lists Joel Allen Maxwell, born 30 Jul 1823, married 15 Nov 1849 to Mary A. 
Edwards, and that one of their children was John Maxwell who married Betty
Hall. Joel Allen Maxwell was the son of Joel Maxwell and Mary "Polly" Brown.
