Elbert Co. marriage records show James A. Nelms and Sarah A. Childs were 
married on 1 Jan 1879. From book "Childs Family History and Genealogy" by 
Julia Brown Hazelwood it is shown that Sarah Ann Childs was the daughter of 
Lewis Glaze Childs and Mary A. Brewer. Bethlehem Church cemetery records show 
Thomas W. Nelms, born 13 Aug 1825, died 8 Jul 1893, and Fannie E. Rucker Nelms, 
born 12 Mar 1833, died 12 May 1900. Elbert Co. marriage record shows Thomas W. 
Nelms and Frances E. Rucker married on 27 Apr 1854.
