Additional Comments:
The death certificate shows the date of death as April 25, 1927 but the burial
date is shown as 26 May and the recording date is shown as 27 May. It is 
therefore concluded that May is the correct month of death. Elbert Co. marriage 
records show W. H. Newton and Lou Skelton were married on 11 Jul 1915, and that 
John D. Skelton and Mary A. Richardson were married on 23 Nov 1852. Cemetery 
book records for New Bethel Methodist Church do not list Lou Skelton Newton.
